You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to budget smartphones. But aside from Motorola and Nokia, you might be hard-pushed to find many options from brands you’ve heard of. This isn’t to say it’s a bad idea to buy one of the many Chinese Android phones under £200 – some offer amazing value.
But with Samsung’s new A13 5G about to go on sale, you’d be forgiven for sticking with what you know.
What is the Galaxy 13 5G release date and price?
The Galaxy A13 5G replaces last year’s A12 as one of Samsung’s lowest-priced phone, and will cost £179 when it arrives in the UK on 25 March.
If you’re in the US, you’ll be able to pick one up starting 8 April when it will cost $249.99, though you can get one for as little as $174.99 if you trade in certain old phones in good condition.
(It’s worth noting that the Galaxy A12 is still sold by Samsung in the US and – at the time of writing was discounted from $179.99 to just $104.99, which could be the bargain you’ve been after.)
