This week on Fast Charge, Dom Preston, Alex Walker-Todd and Mike Simon talk about the biggest phone news this week: the accidental X-ray camera in the OnePlus 8 Pro, the plans to still hold IFA 2020 as a physical event, and the current state of the Google Pixel line in the wake of Marc Levoy’s departure.
The OnePlus 8 Pro has always had a photochromatic lens built into the phone (even if we called it pretty pointless in our review) but it turns out it’s also a sort-of X-ray camera, and is even capable of seeing through thin clothes – not good. Meanwhile IFA 2020 is defying expectations to continue as a physical event in Berlin this September, and the Pixel phones are in disarray after high-profile departures and some unexpected leaks.
You can watch it all in the video embedded up above, or head straight to YouTube to watch it there (and subscribe if you fancy!).
