Dell has discounts across its extensive range, but you’ll struggle to beat the huge savings available on the Vostro 5620. The Core i7 model is already down to £1,078.80 from its usual £1,660 in the UK, but entering the code ‘Vostro0016’ at checkout will get you an extra 16% off.

At just £910.80, it’s an incredible saving of £749.20 or 45% off the RRP. If you need a great business laptop or a reliable device for work, you won’t want to miss this deal.

Get 45% off the Dell Vostro 5620 now

The model in question combines that 12th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe integrated graphics, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. You can expect excellent performance as a result, making it a great choice for personal or business use.

The highlight is undoubtedly that 16in display, which clocks in at Full HD (1920×1080) resolution for clear, crisp visuals. It also supports Dell’s ComfortView technology, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted to make the screen easier on the eyes.

Within slim borders there’s still room for a 1080p webcam, which can capture high-quality footage at 30fps. Dual mics make this an excellent option for video calling, whether you use Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet or something else.

To help power these experiences, the Vostro 5620 is equipped with a 54Wh battery. You can expect all-day battery life, with Dell quoting over 10 hours of web browsing or more than seven hours of video playback. Once the battery does start running low, a 65W adapter included in the box will get you up and running again in no time.

It works with a traditional power port, but the Vostro 5620 still supports the Power Delivery fast charging standard via USB-C. That port is also compatible with DisplayPort technology, allowing you to easily connect to an external monitor. But there’s still a full-size HDMI connection if you’d prefer.

They’re joined by two USB-A ports, a 3.5mm audio jack and an SD card reader, split across both sides of the device. If you’re looking for an alternative to the Vostro 5620’s Wi-Fi 6, there’s also an Ethernet port.

Dell has opted for a full-size keyboard and separate number pad, with the large display meaning there’s plenty of room for both, alongside a decent-sized trackpad. It certainly won’t feel cramped when you’re typing or navigating around with the cursor.

Durability is also a top priority, with the device meeting military-grade certification (MIL-810H). This indicates it can both handle extreme environments and cope with the wear and tear of everyday use.

As you might expect from a business-focused laptop, the Vostro 5620 runs Windows 11 Pro out of the box. It offers the same core experience as Windows 11 Home, but with a few extra security features that many businesses will find useful – including encryption, virtual machines and various management tools.

Talking of security, the Vostro 5620 includes a fingerprint sensor for easy sign in and mechanical shutter on the webcam to help keep your privacy in check. It’s the complete package for most people, and for a limited time much easier on the wallet with these big discounts in the Dell’s Black Friday Sale. Make sure you take advantage via the Dell website before it’s too late.
