A retailer in the Phillipines has published a product page for the as-yet unconfirmed budget Redmi 9 from Xiaomi, complete with some official-looking marketing shots that back up earlier rumours of what to expect.
Redmi 9 is thought to be one of three devices in the series, with leakster Sudhanshu having already alluded to a Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C and Redmi 9 via Twitter.
In a recent post he outlined key specifications about the upcoming phones, including some competitive pricing at €100-120, €130-150 and €160-180 respectively.

Now retailer Lazada confirms much of what we thought we know, with the marketing shots we publish below pointing to three colour options, 6.53in Full-HD+ IPS displays, MediaTek Helio G80 chipsets, 3GB/4GB memory and 32GB/64GB storage complements, and – in common with the Redmi Note 9 series – big 5,020mAh batteries with 18W fast wired charging.
These are budget phones with quad-lens cameras, albeit lower in spec than what you get in the phablet Note line – in the standard Redmi 9 you should expect an 8MP ultra-wide + 13MP wide + 2MP depth + 5MP macro setup. They also come with 3.5mm headphone jacks, IR blasters and fingerprint sensors.
The launch date is not yet known, though the new phones could arrive alongside Mi Band 5 on 11 June.
