Just when you thought that Samsung couldn’t possibly release another phone this year, it’s now launched the near-flagship quality Galaxy S20 FE, or Fan Edition. The phone is now available to pre-order directly from Samsung and will go on sale on 2 October.
Pre-orders in the UK currently include a free Galaxy Fit2 fitness tracker or a “Galaxy Games Pack” consisting of a MOGA XP5-X+ gamepad and 3 month Xbox Games Pass Ultimate subscription. Meanwhile, pre-orders in the US now include discounts up to $100 (see participating retailers below).
What exactly makes the FE for the fans? Well, for starters it packs some of the top flagship features of the S20 range, such as a 120Hz display, a triple camera setup, and 5G connectivity – but at a palatable starting price of £599.
If you do opt for the 5G variant, you’ll also be treated to a longer battery life, thanks to the Snapdragon 865 processor instead of the Exynos 990.
How much does the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE cost?
The S20 FE is available in 4G and 5G in the UK. The US only gets the 5G option, as well as a FE 5G UW version that’s exclusive to Verizon.
S20 FE 4G (128GB/6GB RAM) – £599

The FE is available a variety of delectable colours, from Navy, Lavender, and Mint to White, Orange and Red – all bound in a ‘Glasstic’, or reinforced plastic back, Gorilla Glass 5 front, and aluminum frame.
