After the agony of a penalty shootout defeat in the final Euro 2020, England are well on track to qualify for the next major tournament.
The Three Lions have won three and drawn two games since losing to Italy in July, and sit top of Group I with just two matches to play. Gareth Southgate’s side will be assured of a place at the World Cup in Qatar next year with four points, but a win at Wembley Stadium tonight is likely to be enough. Here’s everything you need to know about the next England game, including how to watch live.
When is the next England game?
England’s next match is taking place today, Friday 12 November, with kick-off at 7.45pm UK time.
The Three Lions return to Wembley Stadium to take on Albania, and will take confidence from a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture back in March. Albania’s current position of third in the group would see them go into the play-offs, but they’ll be keen to overtake Poland and qualify automatically.
If England don’t get the job done tonight, they’ll probably have another chance away against San Marino on 15 November – that game also kicks off at 7.45pm UK time.
