SkyShowtime includes exclusive TV premieres and first looks for theatrical releases from both Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures, as well as movies and series from Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Paramount+, Showtime, Sky Studios and Peacock.

The streaming service is now available in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. It will roll out to The Netherlands at the end of this year, and to Spain, Portugal, Andorra, and Central and Eastern Europe in the coming months – likely in the first quarter of 2023.

Some of the most popular movies available on the platform include Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World Dominion, Minions: The Rise of Gru, The Northman, Sing 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Meanwhile, there are TV series such as Yellowjackets, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Yellowstone and Law & Order all available to watch.

In the Nordics region, SkyShowtime is replacing Paramount+ altogether – one of the first areas the latter platform launched outside of the US.

So far, there are no plans to launch SkyShowtime in the UK, as Sky already has a big presence in this region – the same goes for Ireland, Germany and Italy. This makes sense, considering that Paramount+ is available to Sky customers free of charge. NBC’s Peacock is also available via Sky, as well as Now, Sky’s flexible streaming service.

You can see how Paramount+, Peacock and Now all compare to other rivals in our list of the best TV streaming services.
