If you thought that Spider-Man: No Way Home was officially over, then we have news for you. Sony is releasing an extended cut in theatres – the film is called Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version.
The third MCU Spidey film starring Tom Holland blew the multiverse wide open, bringing in heroes and villains from other Spider-Man film series – including Willem Defoe’s Green Goblin and Jamie Foxx’s Electro. Fans will be able to watch 11 minutes of extra scenes with this new cut.
None of this footage has been released on the DVD/Blu-ray versions, or on VOD platforms and streaming services. Therefore, this will be exclusive to movie-goers. When do Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version tickets go on sale?
Sony has confirmed that in the US, tickets for Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Stuff Version will go on sale tomorrow, Tuesday 23 August 2022.
We don’t know for certain if this also applies to the UK as well – but it is highly likely, considering that previous Marvel films have usually had the same on-sale dates for tickets released across the pond.
In the past, Marvel films have released tickets around midnight local time on cinema websites – we will be updating this article with the latest information on when they are available.
When does Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version release in cinemas?
The extended cut of Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently slated to release on 2 September in the US and the UK. This date may vary in other parts of the world.
