Microsoft’s Back to School sale has started early this year, with discounts across the Surface range.
Chief among them is the company’s latest Surface Pro 7, which is now available for as little as £705.
That will get you a model with an Intel Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD, saving £94 on the RRP. The discounts only get steeper as you dial up the specs, maxing out at £230 off the high-end Intel Core i7 model.

If a more traditional clamshell design is your thing, you’ll be glad to know there are similarly sizeable discounts on both the 13.5in model of 2019’s Surface Laptop 3.
A configuration we recommend offers an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD for £1,389, slashing £160 off the usual asking price.

Amazon’s discounts often match Microsoft’s own on the Surface range, but no retailer can offer the same value for money right now.
However, don’t get caught out by the ‘Back to School’ name, as these discounts will expire on 4 August. That should give you plenty of time to get familiar with your new device before the start of the academic year.
