You might have missed all the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals on TVs but if you want a budget set then RCA’s new Roku TV models will fit the bill with prices starting at just £129.
That price is not an introductory early bird offer either and will bag you a 32in Full HD model. Then there are bigger and 4K Ultra HD options, too, all with Roku’s recognised streaming platform built-in.
This gives you access to the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Disney+ without having to plug in any kind of set-top-box or streaming stick. The TVs have Wi-Fi so it’s a plug-and-play experience and there are plenty of free channels, too.
You get Freeview Play, BBC iPlayer, ITV X and more so you’ve got all you need to stream the rest of the World Cup 2022.
We’ve reviewed Roku TV powered sets before from the likes of Hisense but not for this kind of money. Here’s the full range of RCA models:
32in Full HD (RR32HD1), £129.99 40in Full HD (RR40FD1), £169.99 55in 4K Ultra HD (RR55UD1), £269.99
The TVs are on sale from today and customers get 30-days of Discovery+ for free with every purchase. You can buy the RCA Roku TVs from Amazon and other unnamed ‘selected retail partners’.
“Roku TV models offer consumers automatic updates, a customizable home screen, and a powerful universal search function that shows results ordered by price,” said the firm.
The tellies are also compatible with Apple AirPlay 2, Siri, Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
Unusually, the devices are being assembled in South Wales and could be one of the best value options for a smart TV this year and next. If you’re not so sure, check out out best budget TVs chart.
