Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct presentation is a slightly shorter one this time around. It will bring news of some third-party titles releasing on the Switch, so it won’t include any news or trailers for games such as Zelda, Pokémon or Animal Crossing.

When is the next Nintendo Direct?
The next Nintendo Direct, a ‘Mini’ showcase, will take place on Tuesday, 28 June at 2pm UK time (BST). Here are the start times for other locations:
US West Coast: 6am PTUS East Coast: 9am ETCentral Europe: 3pm CET
Little is known about the presentation apart from that it will last around 25 minutes containing information on upcoming third-party titles for the Nintendo Switch. Nintendo did not delve into specifics, but we could potentially get news for the likes of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Bayonetta 3.
There have also been rumours that the Persona series may be be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

What is Nintendo Direct?
Nintendo Direct is the legendary Japanese gaming company’s way of communicating with both the press and fans. It’s namely for making news announcements for upcoming games.
The announcements can vary, from new gameplay features to new accessory reveals and even release date announcements. Previously, Nintendo used its Direct presentations to unveil the Nintendo Switch, as well as many of its best Nintendo Switch games.
Occasionally there will be a dedicated Pokémon Direct presentation, especially for the franchise, or particular games like Smash Bros and Animal Crossing.
