Xiaomi launched the Poco X3 NFC at a virtual launch event on 7 September and it’s on sale in the UK right now.
The Poco X3 uses a Snapdragon 732G chip that packs powerful mid-range performance. The only thing you’ll miss is 5G connectivity – which isn’t really a bad thing (here’s why). Instead, the phone packs a massive 5160mAh battery, 33W fast charging, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an incredibly vivid 6.67in LCD screen that might be one of the best in the budget range.
We were very impressed with the Poco X3 during our time using the device, giving it a score of 9/10 in the full review. It also currently sits top of our best budget phone chart.

How much does the Poco X3 cost?
The Poco X3 is available in two configurations and price-points:
6GB RAM + 64GB storage – £199
6GB RAM + 128GB storage – £249
You can pick the phone up in Shadow Grey or Cobalt Blue (pictured below).
Poco X3 early bird offer
From 17 September to 7 October, customers can pick up a £20 discount on the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which drops the price to £229 (more on storage and price below). The discount is available direct from Xiaomi.
Where to buy the Poco X3 SIM-free
If you missed out on the early bird offer, the Poco X3 is still available from Xiaomi and Amazon in the UK, although the latter doesn’t currently have stock of the 6GB/128GB model.
In addition to next-day delivery via its Prime subscription service, another attraction of buying through Amazon is the ability to trade-in your old phone to put towards the cost.
You can also pick it up from Ali Express if you don’t mind shipping it from China or Spain. Prices are lower, starting from £192.48, but delivery takes longer. Delivery to the UK from China is free but may take anywhere between 43-60 days, whereas shipping from Spain costs £4.45 and arrives in 7 days.
Any more retailers that become available will be displayed below:
Can you buy the Poco X3 on contract?
Unfortunately, none of the major carriers in either the UK or US are currently offering the phone on contract, but we’ll update this article if that changes.
