OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei previously stated that a Nord device would be coming to the US before 2020’s end but now we have a name, specs and a release date for both the Nord N10 5G and its even-more-affordable sibling, the Nord N100.
The silence around the original Nord’s absence in US was deafening when the phone launched in both Europe and India, back in July. The US has an established fanbase, so the fact the company didn’t bring its hottest and most affordable new phone to the market seemed like a bit of a slap in the face to loyal OnePlus fans at the time.

Not long after the Nord’s launch, co-founder Carl Pei, in an interview with Wired, promised that the US would be receiving a Nord device of its own before the year was out. Sure enough, it looks as though we’re now likely to see two new Nord devices, with established tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (better known as @OnLeaks) sharing the latest information on both devices.
When is the OnePlus Nord Lite launching?
According to Hemmerstoffer, both the OnePlus Nord N10 5G and Nord N100 will arrive on 26 October.
OnePlus hasn’t yet made mention of a formal launch event, so it’s assumed that the brand considers these releases less significant than the device used to debut the Nord name.
Previously, reports of a launch in October had also surfaced from other sources:

How much will the OnePlus Nord Lite cost?
One of the most enticing aspects of these phones – if what sources have told Android Central is to be believed – will be their pricing. The N10 5G is cited with a sub-$400 price tag that’ll likely work out even cheaper than the original Nord. Better yet, the N100 should clock in at around just $200.
What features will the OnePlus Nord Lite offer?
In the two posts that Hemmerstoffer shared, just a week before the N10 5G and N100’s supposed launch date, he included a spec sheet for each, highlighting previously-mentioned tidbits – like the processors they’re expected to use – along with wholly new information too.
OnePlus Nord N10 5G specs:
6.49in Full HD+ 90Hz display
Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor
6GB RAM
128GB storage
Rear camera: 64Mp main sensor + 8Mp Ultrawide + 2Mp (potentially macro) + 2Mp (potentially bokeh)
4300mAh battery
5G
USB-C
3.5mm headphone jack
OnePlus Nord N100 specs:
6.52in HD+ LCD panel
Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor
4GB RAM
64GB storage
Rear camera: 13Mp main + 2Mp Macro + 2Mp bokeh
Front camera: 8Mp
5000mAh battery
4G only
Dual-SIM
USB-C
3.5mm headphone jack
Interestingly, the most affordable Nord – the N100 – looks as though it’ll be the largest member of the device family so far (and also boasts the largest battery).
So yes, the Lito motherboard indeed resonates to a Snapdragon 765 series chipset, but as @Sudhanshu1414 has mentioned, the GPU here is the Adreno 619, which belongs to the SD690.#oneplus #OnePlusNord #newbeginnings pic.twitter.com/TLixOnDu0o

As for the N10 5G’s SoC, it’s one that we’d previously seen by way of a Geekbench leak, as spotted by Twitter user Mukul Sharma, back in mid-July (above).
