Who doesn’t love free video games? Each month, multiple subscription services and platforms offer free games. It can be tough to keep track of everything, so here’s a rundown of what’s available and how you can get your hands on free stuff.
PS Plus free games
PS Plus is Sony’s subscription service for PlayStation owners. It costs $4.99 a month, or $59.99 a year, and includes two free PS4 games that change monthly. April’s PS Plus game will be available to download starting April 7.

Sony Interactive Entertainment
The Uncharted series came to an end if Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Nathan Drake is back for one last adventure to save his family.

EA Maxis
Dirt Rally 2.0 gives players some speed combined with off-road action. The racing game contains eight official circuits from the FIA World Rallycross championship across New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the US.
Xbox Live Games With Gold
Xbox owners with an Xbox Live subscription ($9.99 a month) can receive four free games each month, of which two are Xbox One titles and the other two are Xbox 360 or original Xbox games playable via backward compatibility. Games will be available for various times throughout the month.
Bandai Namco Entertainment
If you’re stuck inside, a racing game offers a little sense of freedom. Project Cars 2 features more than 180 race and road cars with dynamic weather effects and the largest track rosters. It will be available April 1 to April 30.

Plug in Digital
Knights of Pen and Paper is a RPG about a tabletop RPG. Included in the bundle is Knights of Pen and Paper 1 and 2, and it will be available from April 16 to May 15.
Lionhead Studios
Fable Anniversary is a remaster of 2004’s Fable originally released on the Xbox. Developed by Lionhead Studios, players take the role of an orphan boy whose family was killed. The game will be available from April 1 to April 15.

Codemasters
Toybox Turbos is a classic table-top racing game developed by Codemasters. Players can collect 35 cars and race across 18 tracks while using machine guns and mines to take out other drivers. The game will be available for download April 16 to April 30.
Stadia Pro free games
Stadia is Google’s cloud-gaming streaming service, and it requires a $9.99 monthly pro subscription, which includes two free games each month. April games will be available until April 30.
Croteam
Serious Sam is all about shooting waves of aliens with big gun. The collection includes remastered versions of Serious Sam: The First Encounter, Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, and Serious Sam 3: BFE.
Massive Miniteam
Spitlings is a four-player multiplayer game with hundreds of levels with random action featuring small, rectangular creatures with teeth.
Herringbone Games
Stacks On Stacks (On Stacks) is a 3D tower builder game. Players control Master Stacker, Rockit, who uses her psychic helmet to gather all the color boxes in the world.
Epic Games Store free games
Publisher Epic Games made a big splash in 2019 with the opening of its digital storefront. As a new store for PC games, the company gives away games each week. All that’s needed is to have an Epic account and to click on the game. This week’s games will be available until April 23.
Avalanche Studios
The Just Cause series is all about creating havoc. Developer by Avalanche Studios, Just Cause 4 has Rico Rodriguez go to a South American country to fight off military forces and extreme weather.

Wheels of Aurelia is a different kind of game. Players will take part in a road trip on the west coast of Italy during the 1970s where the choices made can either lead to dramatic car chases or fiery debate with passengers.
Twitch Prime free games
Amazon’s streaming platform Twitch has a special deal for Amazon Prime members. By linking their Amazon account to their Twitch account, members can receive Twitch Prime loot that includes in-game content and free games. April’s Games with Prime are available to download until May 1.

Earthlock harkens back to the RPGs from the 90s.
Raw Fury
Kathy Rain is an adventure game that takes place in the 90s. Kathy is a journalism major who investigates a mystery in her hometown.
Night Dive Studios
Originally released in 1997, Turok is an FPS game filled with dinosaurs. Players will have to take down ferocious monsters and find the evil overlord known as “The Campaigner.”
Pixelnest Studio
Furi focuses on what’s usually the most action-packed part of any action game: boss battles. This stylish arcade-style game has players fight one boss after another, with a killer soundtrack playing in the background.

OSome Studio
Lightmatter is a puzzle game where players use light to solve puzzles. The light also helps stops the shadows that can kill you.
Like Sony and Microsoft, Nintendo offers a subscription service for the Switch console called Switch Online at a cost of $3.99 a month or $19.99 a year. Unlike the other two companies, Nintendo only offers free NES and SNES games as part of a Switch Online subscription.
